If you enjoy shopping for antiques, creatively repurposed and reclaimed items, architectural salvage, vintage and more, what better place for a getaway than Oregon’s oldest community – Astoria! You’ll find most stores clustered in the historic downtown district by the waterfront, but exploring the surrounding area yields treasures as well. Here are just three shops to add to your bucket list – the winner, runner-up, and honorable mention in Coast Weekend’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Antique Store:

Astoria Vintage Hardware
1162 Marine Drive, Astoria, OR 97103
Phone: 503-325-1313
Hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm Sunday noon – 4:00 pm
A must see is the new location of Vintage Hardware, where their 10,000 square foot store features their eclectic collection displayed in creative period vignettes, each with a unique theme. The owners are known for their artistically reclaimed and repurposed or “upcycled” offerings for home and garden. You’ll find ‘hip’ antiques and architectural salvage from lighting and bath fixtures to windows and doors, plus a huge selection of decorative drawer pulls and knobs – ‘jewelry’ for your furniture. New in 2017 is a Pop Up Shop within the store, where the owners will showcase a different artisan each month who lacks a traditional brick-and-mortar location.

Farmhouse Funk
35408 US-101 Business, Astoria, OR 97103
Phone: 503-325-4474
Hours: 10:30 am – 5:00 pm
Farmhouse Funk offers an eclectic collection of antiques and collectibles, plus country decor and all things Western, from saddles and tack to boots. Just take a five minute drive south on Business 101 – the shop is across the Young River.

Phog Bounders Antique Mall
892 Marine Drive, Astoria, OR 97103
Phone:503-338-0101
Hours: 10:00 am -5:30 pm
This antique mall is just a couple of blocks along Marine Drive from Vintage Hardware. The well-curated booths offer a wide variety of creatively displayed collections, including tools, clocks, and nautical items.

When you stay with us at Clementine’s Bed & Breakfast in Astoria’s National Historic District, you’re only a five minute stroll from the antique shops on Marine and Commercial Streets, as well as Astoria’s riverfront.  Our B&B includes both our restored 1888 historic inn and 1850’s era Moose Temple Lodge,  which may be the oldest building in Astoria. You’ll find the inn’s décor an eclectic blend of vintage, European, and Asian furnishings, while the Moose Temple Lodge features a more casual cottage motif with primitives and vintage pieces. We’re the perfect lodging choice for any antique lover’s getaway, so give us a call or book online soon!
